Here’s a new song by Rihanna called “We Found Love” featuring Calvin Harris.  Its a cool song with her awesome vocals and techno beat.  Its kinda clubby, but also really mellow and chill, great for a night at a lounge.

Kelly Clarkson has a new song out called “Mr. Know It All.”  Its catchy, poppy, and classic Clarkson.  Surprisingly, I really enjoy Kelly Clarkson’s songs and I think its because her voice is so good and steady compared to the other teen pop singers.  She may be underrated because she always delivers the hits to mainstream, middle American and never gets involved in tabloid antics.  She has also proven that you can be successful and a great singer without showing skin and resorting to risque behavior.

Here is the new song from One Republic called Good Life.  I like the song, its poppy and mellow.  Its one of those songs that you like the more you listen to it because its so catchy.

At long last, Carson Palmer has found a new home and Mike Brown has relented and traded him from the Bengals to the desperate Raiders for potentially 2 first round draft picks.  This is quite a risk for the Raiders, who are giving up their future for winning playoff games this year and the next.  They have a solid team with a strong running game and a good defense.  After a decade in the basement, the Raiders realize how precious time is with an elite team before players get old or top players leave as free agents.  In addition, Hue Jackson has done a marvelous job in his first year as head coach, but he only has a 2-3 year window to make the team a playoff contender, so he doesn’t need those draft picks, as much as he needs a sure fire quarterback.
